2nd Book Finished!

For our 1st year anniversary I made a photo book of our first year together and decided I would try (key word: try) and do it every year. For our 2nd I had it made on the computer but never ordered it. I finally did and here it is! I also started the 3rd book (of this year) so I can have it ready for our third anniversary. It's so easy and I think they'll be fun to look back at in the years to come.

Here's the 1st and 2nd book

Amy and Eric Visit!

My older sister (and only sister) is engaged and on the 12th we had her bridal shower down in Benson. She and Eric flew in here to Phoenix and Steven and I picked them up and drove to Benson! It was such a great trip, like always! Friday night my mom and the rest of the family stayed up late and made Fenn tacos! Saturday Steven and I played tennis, then we girls got ready for the bridal shower. It was fun and we had lots of great food. After that we got things ready for the pit bbq. We went up to my great uncle Don's to watch the process of separating the meat from the bone. Kind of gross but the bbq was delicious!! Once again, yummy food. Anyway, it was a fun, relaxing trip. I'm not sure if Eric (Amy's fiance) would agree :)! Haha...our family can be a little bit loud and crazy at first but I'm sure he'll get the hang of things like Steven had to do! (has to do i should say...)

Here are some pictures from the bridal shower, the pit bbq, my cute nephew and us!

Camping Again!

Steven and I went camping by ourselves for the first time and had so much fun. We were a bit worried we’d be bored out of our minds since the only other times we’ve been camping we’ve been with a group of people but we had a blast! We were worried we’d get rained on since the forecast had a 70% of rain in Williams and we got poured on while driving up there but as soon as we got past Flagstaff and on our way to Williams it was beautiful. We finally found a good spot to camp and set everything up. The weather the entire time was gorgeous and we got a few sprinkles at one point but that was it. We took walks, took lots of pictures, ate yummy food, studied our homework, cut a LOT of firewood with a bow saw (definitely got our workout!), talked and talked and talked, took naps and just enjoyed being by ourselves with absolutely no distractions. It was a great vacation even though it took 4 hours getting home (big accident on the 17, had to go through Payson)

With our first pile of firewood!
Steven said "I'll do a Kyle face" :)

We couldn't fit a table in our car so this was our makeshift table for playing cards

We were a little worried about where we were camping because there were a lot of trees that looked like they had been struck by lightning!

Pretty wildflowers

The hammock--best place for taking naps!

Ugh--stupid s'mores! We wanted them really bad but that was AFTER we had driven into Williams so when we got back to camp, Steven decided to go back into town to get stuff. However, no grocery store or gas station had anything so he stopped at a KOA or some place like that and finally found stuff BUT it was a rip-off! $5.00 for graham crackers, $4.10 for marshmallows and $2.50 for the candy bar. They were good though :)

Obviously!
Anyway, we had fun and learned a few things we need to bring next time but for the most part, everything went smoothly and we'll definitely be doing it again next year!
