Well, Sunday was fun in some ways, not so much in others. We got up early and went to church, came home, took a nap while Steven did his home teaching and then I left to go do my visiting teaching and he slept! When I was leaving a girl's house, I opened her door and it was pouring rain! (what else?) Fortunately I was done because I just love being at home during a rain storm. When I got home Steven had all the windows open and it was coming down HARD. It rained for a good hour. We sat down and ate our yummy ribs for dinner (not our own of course) and then went over to the Beagley's (family in our ward) and played games all night! They taught us some new ones and we taught them as well. It was so much fun and nice to get out of our little apartment. When we got back we got ready for bed and then...the fun part :o)
Friday night I had some sharp chest pains and then a panic attack and then some more constant pressure on my chest throughout Saturday and Sunday as well. It made me a little nervous of course but I kept waiting for it to pass. We went to bed at about 9:00 and then about 10:30 I woke up with sharp pains in my left arm followed by numbness/tingling . That kind of scared me so I stayed up for a bit but finally decided to lay back down. The next thing I woke up to was sharp pains in my lower back, still numb arm, and even more chest pressure. I'm a little bit scared at this point and poor Steven's now awake. He wanted to take me to the hospital but I kept refusing. All I wanted to do was go out for a drive to take my mind off of things (I was afraid of another panic attack--they're not fun) so we went driving and while we're driving I call a nurse hotline and tell her everything and she says to go to the hospital right away just in case. So by now my heart is really pounding because I've never been to the ER and I was scared silly. For those of you who don't know me, I have the weakest stomach of anyone you will meet. Just the fact that we were in the ER made me feel like I was going to pass out. I kept asking everyone, "are there needles? is there blood required?" Well, come to find out they're going to
run a bunch of tests on me and give me a CT scan which, you guessed it, required an iv. It took forever because they had to give me medicine to calm me down because I was FREAKING out. The guy came in to do it and said "Meghan Carbonneau?" and i said "nope!" and he said" too bad! you have to do it." I was ready to just leave and deal with not knowing what was wrong. Anyway, so after what seemed like forever, the iv was in. I'll have to say Steven was the best hospital buddy to have there. We were laughing so hard and had so much fun. He kept me happy and took my mind off the iv and everything. So, by this point it's probably about...2:30 in the morning and they take me to get my CT scan but that didn't happen for another hour at least. The scan wasn't as bad as I thought except for the part where they inject the iodine in your body and it makes you feel like you're on fire and that you're peeing all over yourself...yeah, not fun.Well, at about 5:15 we were sent home. Everything turned out fine, just an atypical pain that was probably just caused by stress or something. I'm not quite sure. I was just watching Spiderman 3 when I had the panic attack...wasn't causing me THAT much stress. Anyway, it was a fun night and we're glad everything is okay and I'm alive and kickin'.

Glad it was nothing serious. You still have a 1/2 marathon to get ready for! You never know about those Spiderman movies. -Kevin
I don't think your supposed to have such cute pictures when your sick in the hospital! Glad that your okay, your story had me concerned at first. By the way you and your husband are such a cute couple!
Oh my goodness! I am so glad that you are okay. Have a great and relaxing week!
Oh Meghan...you make me laugh. Of course it's not funny what was happening to you, that's pretty scary, but the whole weak stomach thing...I hope you survive a pregnancy! :) Hope everything is okay now!
Oh my gosh I'm so glad that you are okay!! That's kinda weird that they said it was stress for all the pain that you were in. How are you feeling now? Be careful!
Yikes Meghan! That is so scary! YIKES! YIKES YIKES!!!! I'm so glad you are okay! I know what you mean about the iodine! I've had that...it's such a weird feeling having ink injected into you! BTW thanks for the memory! You were just like a lil sis to me too. One of my favorite people! Love ya's!
Talk about scary!!
I would assume that I was dying of a heart attack of something crazy like that if I had the symptoms you described. You seemed to have handled that part quite well.
Glad to hear that everything is fine, and you're doing well!!
Seester - you make me laugh! I'm glad you can laugh about this situation. I'm really sorry you had to go through all you did - I hate hospitals and blood and needles almost as much as you do. Steven - you are the best husband and brother-in-law in the world! Thanks for loving my sister like you do and taking care of her. I hope I marry a guy like you :)
I was scared you were gonna say you had a heart attack! I am glad you are ok!
I am sorry you had to go to the hospital that is not fun, to bad I wasn't working I could have done your CT SCAN. We are glad you are better and that nothing was wrong. We need to get together and play some games. Call me when you want to do a craft or something during the week, there is a new story I want to take you too!
First of all (since you are okay!) the only reason my posts are long is because my life is so exciting!!:) But anyway, glad you are okay. I'd lay off the visiting teaching for awhile if I were you - chances are that's what caused the pain in the first place. Maybe take a week or 2 off church, too, you never know...
