Well, I finally graduated from glasses to contacts. I went in to the optometrist planning on just getting new glasses but decided I was sick and tired of forgetting my glasses or making sure I had them every where I went. So...after about an hour I finally got a contact in. I still had another eye to do, then remove one and put it back in. Now for some of you, you may be wondering what the big deal is with contacts but for those of you who DO know me, I have the weakest stomach in the WORLD. During the process of trying to put my contacts in, I felt sooo sick. I was sweating and lightheaded and I had to keep drinking cold water. It was quite ridiculous. So, I'm happy to say I did it. I was telling Steven there might be some major trauma in the house tonight when I have to take them out :o) It's just so weird to be able to see and not have to wear glasses. I think I'm going to like this...And by the way, if anyone needs an optometrist, Dr. Reed is a great one. My sister-in-law Trish used to work for him and today was my first visit there but I enjoyed their office. They're located on Gilbert and Southern and their office is called EyeCare.Hooray for me!

Congrats on the contacts. I wore them for 14 years and graduated to the next step about 4 years ago - Lasik surgery. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. - Kevin
That's funny....Jackie is the same way. She can't swallow pills. I remember her trying to swallow a pill once and she ate a whole thing of yorgurt to help it go down. It never did though. I was in total shock. :) Must be a Fenn thing. Good luck! You'll get used to it...I think. I don't wear them yet so I'm not sure. But good luck anyway!
All right, don't listen to Ashley! Yeah, it's true, but I'm getting better. Anyways, I'm not that bad though! I was able to get my contacts in pretty fast the first time--you definitely have a weaker stomach! Clarice thought I was silly too for my latest post, but I just don't want to scream and shout about it, as exited as I am. Good luck with the new eyes!

I need new glasses and am considering contacts.. let me know how it goes. My husband recommended I just get lasik.. but I think I would seriously start freaking out.. wouldn't you?
You did great! Anyway, I'm glad you found me. It is fun getting messages from people. Your blog is so cute. It is such a small world, that's cool that you went to prom with Guy. I know Trish from work and I also know Jackie and Clarice, obviously because David is Jonathan's cousin. You and your husband look like a cute couple... you are so pretty.
