Long Time No Blog

I pulled up our blog today and realized it's been almost a month since I last posted!! I'm slacking here. I forgot my camera when we went to Benson for the 4th so I'd been waiting to get some other pictures before I posted.

4th of July was a blast. We drove down Thursday night, hung out Friday--went to a BBQ that night with lots of relatives/friends and played Frisbee and softball. Saturday we watched the parade, firefighter water fight, ate free food, went swimming and had a "cousin" bbq. We even saw a rattlesnake and my brother Jeremy killed it. These are the only pictures we have from that weekend. My parents were gone so it was just us kids but we still had fun!

The snake kept moving and scaring us. Gave us a good laugh.

On the 8th of July I flew up to Utah for my sister Amy’s 30th birthday party I threw for her. It was a little hard planning the party from Arizona with people I didn’t know all too well but it came together. The weather was great and we had about 60 people show up throughout the evening. It was fun spending time with my one and only sister but too short of a trip!! On Friday we drove down to Vegas where Amy dropped me off with Steven and she went to hang out with friends! Here are a few pictures from her party. I wanted to keep it light and fresh and summery.

Steven’s cousin Amber was getting married that Saturday. Friday night we hung out down at the strip. I really only like the fountains at the Bellagio and seeing shows there. That’s it. Other than that I hate Vegas. It was fun finally seeing the fountains! We’ve been there 3 or 4 times but we’ve never seen them.

Anyway, the wedding was great. I always like going to different temples! Everything for Mike and Amber’s wedding turned out great. We were blessed with some clouds when they came out of the temple. The reception was fun and entertaining.

Anyway, we’ve been busy but…sometimes I’d rather be busy than bored! This weekend is Steven’s 25th birthday and next week we’ll be traveling up to Flagstaff for his Grandpa’s 80th birthday. Hopefully after that I’ll have some time to relax!!

And of course, the videos of the fountains! They're not the greatest but they're still fun.
