Phew! What a weekend! I don’t know where to start. My one and only sister got married on Saturday up in Utah! Thursday night we drove straight through and got to her place around 6:00 a.m., slept for a few hours and then got up to get “wedding stuff” done. Amy and I went and got pedicure and manicures (I was her maid of honor :o), did some shopping and then all of our family and Amy’s AMAZING friends went to the church to set up for the reception. I absolutely love my family and love being around them. They make me laugh and we all have so much fun and get along so well. Anyway, after setting up we went to a park and had dinner and played around a bit. Then we all headed over to a family friend’s house for dinner.
Saturday morning we woke up and my mom and I went with Amy to get her hair done and then from then on out it was chaos. Not really. Things went really smooth. The wedding was at 2:00 at the Oquirrh Mountain temple and everyone was there on time, we got Amy in her dress afterwards (oh what fun), got pictures done, had the reception, started our drive home, stayed in Kanab, finished the drive today (Sunday). We're tired and are most definitely NOT ready to take on the week.
All-in-all it was such a NICE weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. The temple was EMPTY (is that a good thing??) Amy looked GORGEOUS and the reception was perfect. We served (well, the YW from the ward did) soup in bread bowls, crackers and cheese and hot apple cider and of course, cake. Everything was decorated very “fall” ish and it was lovely J
I’m so so so happy for my sister. I’ve been looking forward to this day for a while and am so happy she’s happy and married! It was bittersweet seeing her get married because I’ve always had her for myself but now I GET to share her with Eric which is just fine. I can’t wait until they come down because now everyone is married and the only people left to add are grandkids!

What a fun weekend!! It's always nice to get together with family, especially when it's for such a special occasion.
Congrats to Amy!!!
