I think today is by far, the hottest day of the year. Our thermometer showed 108 degrees and I thought, "okay, it's not THAT bad..." until I went outside to go to the store. I started thinking, why do we put ourselves through this? This is ridiculous. Sometimes I don't mind the heat...if there's a beach or pool nearby or air-conditioned building but when I'm in a hot car, I'm really ready to just pack everything up and move! Call me a baby/sissy/whiner but I love the cold weather--not snow weather, just cold. If Steven could find a job as good as what he has here, I'd be out of this place. I think it's just miserable. Poor Steven has to drive a car without any air conditioning which I'll probably start driving just since my work is closer to home than his.
I hate to be indoors but...I'm thinking I will be most of the summer since I just hate this hot weather! No, hot doesn't even describe it...This is going to be a long 4-5 months...

Meghan....I am very disappointed to hear this. You are actually living in Paradise honey. And, the cold weather doesn't come without the snow...and ice, and slush, and misery and depression! Need I go on? You think you want the cold until you get it....then the heat doesn't seem so bad. Actually, that is putting it lightly. The heat looks ABSOLUTELY FABO! Especially when the cold/snowy/miserable weather lasts for 9 months!!!! So, come and live with me and you will change your mind! :) Did you miss my last post about it snowing on may 1st??? YES MAY 1st! It has snowed since that date as well! So, enjoy the AZ weather!
I was thinking the very same thing this past couple of days.....this heat is hellish!!!
