So, Steven and I are kind of addicted to the RedBox movie rental thing at walmart. We get a new one almost everynight. I've watched so many new movies lately (my excuse is that I'm going to be folding laundry while I watch!) but have only really liked one or two. Here's my review:
Enchanted: annoying. The only thing I liked was the chipmunk part when he's explaining something to the prince--whatever his name is. The girl drove me nuts!
27 Dresses: Loved it. I think it's one of my new favorites!
P.S. I love You: Different...too much swearing, wouldn't watch it again. Loved Gerard Butler though! Steven hated that :o)
National Treasure: Book of Secrets: Good but too much like the first one in the way that everything happened in the same order and same way. I thought it was interesting and I really like the actors/actresses.
Dan in Real Life: Ummm...kind of boring to me. There wasn't really much to it. I don't like Steve Carell so maybe that's why I didn't like it. And I hated the way his daughters treated him--it made it seem like treating your parents like that is okay.
Indiana Jones: okay, for as old as Harrison Ford is and how everyone was giving him such a hard time, I thought he did pretty good. I liked him and his role but I think the overall story line was a little far-fetched. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it and want to but they bring too much sci-fi into it and it turns out to be lame. We saw that last night--I definitely wouldn't add it to the collection of the other 3 Indiana Jones movies. There was a lot of action and it kept me interested but...like I said, i hated the sci-fi stuff in it.
Anyway, that's all. I'm just sitting at work and am very bored...as always! So there's a post for the day.

I too thought 27 dresses was cute when I saw it. Then Scott and I watched it together, and that wasn't a fun experience cuz he hated it. Still like it though.
Also, we just watched Dan in real life, and I kinda like Steve Carell, and I thought that was one of the most boring and slow movied flicks ever!!!!!!! And I too hated the daughters attitudes with him, very snotty!
We have not tried out the Redbox thing yet because we have Blockbuster on-line going, but I've heard many do like it.
I went an saw IJ yesterday too. You summed it up pretty nicely. Don't think I'll be buying it either. Thought it was kind of corny in a lot of places. Stick with the first three. -Kevin
That's funny you mention that chipmunk in Enchanted, Chloe would cry everytime he was the screen. It was actually pretty humorous =)!
yeah so I completely loved all the movies you hated lol :) I love Enchanted- I love the cheesyness of it, I actually bought it- and Kyle loved Dan in Real Life, I love the part where she screams "you murderer of LOVE!" lol. We actually just bought that one too :)
This is Steven, I personally thought that Dan in Real Life was the better of the movies that Meghan mentioned...
We are red box addicts too. We have one accross the street.
Love the movie review! Now I know which ones to watch with seth! Thanks!
