Memorial Day Weekend

I love holidays and any chance I get to go home to Benson. We drove down Friday night and Josh and Trish and their little family was already there. On Saturday the boys went hiking while the girls and kids went to Tucson. We went and got Mackenzie's ears pierced. It was so sad but she looks so cute now! She's just like a little doll and I couldn't get enough of her. I was constantly waiting for her to wake up to hold her. She's the perfect little baby and so content.
Anyway, the rest of the weekend was spent just hanging out, playing games, and watching movies. On Sunday night we had the annual cemetery get-together where the Fenn family (some) get together at the cemetery and someone talks about an ancestor. I love hearing about my ancestry and being with family. Afterwards we had homemade ice cream--yum! There were about 8 different kinds to choose from.
On the way home we stopped at Steven's brother's house and hung out with them for about an hour before going home. We couldn't believe how big Nathan was! I hadn't seen him for about 2 months. He's a cute, chunky baby. :o)
So, we're home now. It's a cleaning/laundry day for me. Fun fun fun!! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend!

Fun!!
I can't believe they got Mackenzie's ears peirced! How cute!! We've considered it with Sophie because I have a friend that did her baby girls at 6 mos. and Raegan has briefly talked about getting earrings when she's 3. We'll see about that though. They may both just have to wait until they're a bit older.
Mackenzie is such a doll!! You need to have Josh and Trish post pics of her with the new peircings.

Hey Meghan! It's Kristyn Merkley. I don't know if we made the connection or not, but are you related to Audrey Fenn? She was one of my best friend's at ASU! If so, crazy world!! I love your blog... it's so cute!

She definitely needs a blog, that's for sure. It really is a small world. When I saw that you were a Fenn and from Benson I knew you had to be related. I just love Audrey. She is one of my favorite people!! I knew she was pregnant but I didn't know what she was having or when she was due. Do you know if they are staying down there or moving back sometime? I will have to email her and tell her we were in the same ward. She'll get a kick out of it. :)

I can't believe they have already been down there for 3 years!! We were suppose to get together the last time they visited but we never did. I didn't study Nutrition. I studied Speech Pathology & Audiology but we had a class together and I could tell she was LDS so we became quick friends. We always checked out all the hot guys together. Haha. :) Hopefully they will come back soon to visit or just move back to the States.
